Free and Pay-What-You-Want 5e DMs Guild Highlights: Week Ending 10.26.19

Every week, talented creators upload Dungeons and Dragons products to the DMs Guild, pricing them as free or pay-what-you-want in order to reach customers. Dozens of new free and pwyw products are added each week alone. It is a lot to sort through. My hope is that highlighting a few of each week's best supplements will help the designers get the attention they deserve.

You can find previous posts in this series HERE.

The Unquiet Dead from Michael Martin

This is a really nice collection of eleven new undead creatures to torment your players with, including suggestions for placement and tactics. Professional quality.

Divine Prayers from Damian Steele

4e is basically a huge untapped resource for 5e. Take away the formatting, and the editions have a lot in common. This is a conversion of over 700 divine 4e powers into 5e abilities. Steele has done a lot of work bringing 4th edition elements into 5e; see also Arcane Incantations and Martial Exploits.

The Ruinous Islands from Tim Bannock

Dumplings & Dragons from Matthew Bannock and Tim Bannock

As I have mentioned before, I love one page adventures. No need to lug an extra hardback around; you have all you need for a session or more of gaming on a single page. These are excerpts from a larger work, The Lonely Scroll Adventure Contest, so check it out if you want more of these.

Stolen for Stitches from Kelly Mangerino

This free Frankenstein-inspired adventure is perfect for Halloween one-shot. I was impressed by the tight editing and maps. I will be on the lookout for more stuff from Mangerino.

If you enjoy my free zinepodcast, and/or blog, please consider supporting my work for only $1 per month.
