Every Sunday on the Thought Eater podcast, I recap the events of my AD&D Night Below campaign. Last night's session included attack chickens, a bouncing eyeball, Svirfneblin work-songs, and the dreaded Assassin Bug.

Hey Froth, great show as always. The 3 mic technique is called the "Glyn Johns Technique". https://www.recordingrevolution.com/the-glyn-johns-drum-recording-method/ I've used it ALL the time in the recording studio. Generally speaking getting the best drum sound requires: Great drummer, great drums, great room, good mics, and a great arrangement (which is the key!). I used to use all kinds of different techniques, then i found the Glyn one and was totally sold on it.
