  2. Very, very interesting. I was 9 when I was introduced to it by a coworker of my Dad's who was in his early 30s. I would think that the really early days of D&D were older, as it emerged from a bunch of wargames, then spread through colleges. 1974 - 1978 might be an interesting wedge to examine. Also, in those super early days, how much did Gary Gygax's kids have to do with introducing the game to peers of their age? Intriguing stuff!
