The End of the Line for the Thought Eater Podcast

Well, it has been a good run, but we have reached the end of the podcast. I am very thankful for the support I have been given over this 200+ episode journey. The archives and blog aren't going anywhere. You can always email me or follow me over at Twitter. Click below for the final episode.

  2. Froth, it was a wonderful podcast that we were lucky to have for more than 200 episodes. It brightened my week with the joyful enthusiasm about the DIY scene and the hobby. It also put me in touch with all kinds of great stuff I wouldn't have known about. Thank you.

  3. Thank you for a wonderful, useful, podcast that helped keep the scattered community alive by providing a central hub where we could always find a bit of everything, as well as things we never knew existed. You will be missed, but health and family always have to come first. Take care!

  4. Thank you Jeremy for the wonderful pod, I'm going to miss it. It was always a joy listening to what you dug up on the internet over the week, and thank you for the kind words about my blog (and for reading!).

I don't have Twitter so I hope you'll pop over at the Acorn and leave a message from time to time.

    Take care!

  7. Sorry to hear real life is giving you trouble, I hope things get better with your wife's health in the future and maybe one day if you're feeling up to it you might come back. I just discovered your blog and podcast 2 months ago and it's been something I've been enjoying ever since I found it. Good luck and I hope everything gets better for you in the future.

  11. Thanks so much for your tremendous contributions to the hobby and the indie scene. The archives will serve as a wonderful resource for years to come.

Thanks also for the many shout-outs. Your encouragement meant a lot.

It's been such a difficult time for so many of us. Your efforts helped to brighten the darkness. My thoughts and best wishes, to you and your family.

  12. I totally sympathize about life getting in the way. My family has been having things that require attention, too (but we're fine!) especially in this past month.

I really admire the energy and appreciation you've put into this hobby, and your sincere encouragement of other people making stuff and doing stuff.

You are a powerful Soul Paladin of Ikigai.

Even if you're not doing a podcast on a schedule anymore, we've always got Paris - I mean, the archive of podcasts. And everybody out here in Listenerland is also probably just fine if you come out with occasional, very irregular podcasts and blog posts. Being perfect, being high-quality, being timely and regular are not the be-all & end-all.

Even the occasional half-assed scrap is cool. It's cool to know you're out there, somewhere, in the Wilderness, liable to raid the staid stronghold sometime when they least expect it.

  13. It's been a while, but if remember correctly it was micro Podcasts and that was fun.
